Many of the Documents and Publications you will find on this web site are  provided in Acrobat (.pdf) format.

To access these you must have the free Adobe Reader installed. This is normally installed by default on all personal computers, but if you do not have it you should go to the link (to left) and download/install the correct version for your computer.

There are two ways of viewing Acrobat files:

1. Directly in your browser

Simply click on the link to the document, as you would any other link on a web page. The Adobe reader will open in your browser window, and the document will be displayed (and may also be printed if required).

2. By saving to your computer

If you want to access the document more than once it is suggested that you download the Acrobat files into a temporary folder.

• In Internet Explorer right click on the link, and choose "save target as" and select a location (e.g. the desktop) on your computer where you would like to save the file.
• In Firefox right click on the link, and choose "Save Link As" and select a location (e.g. the desktop) on your computer where you would like to save the file.
